Course Overview

This course will explore how social media works, why social media matters, and how to develop a successful social media strategy. The course will discuss how businesses can integrate social media strategy into their existing marketing infrastructure, customize and deliver social media strategies through channels relevant to the customers, and create social media campaigns across several key social platforms. It will also examine important ethical issues using social media.

Course Advantages

This is a fast-paced course packed full of new concepts, techniques and ideas that will hopefully get you started on your journey into learning more about the real ins and outs of social media marketing. Students will be able to learn from one another in our classroom discussions, as we comment, question and answer in an effort to demystify social media marketing. Creativity, innovation and staying updated with current news are all key ingredients to experiencing success in this course.    

Additional Information

This course will require the use of a simulation and digital textbook.

As a digital marketing enthusiast and futurist, I have studied and have worked in many aspects of business marketing, emerging with a strong focus on the effects of technology, social media, culture, and changing demographics on the industry.
