Master of Science in Accountancy at the University of Notre Dame
Purpose
This agreement facilitates the admission of Stonehill College undergraduate students into the Master of Science in Accountancy (MSA) program at our sister school, the University of Notre Dame.
Eligibility
- Cumulative GPA of 3.40 at Stonehill
- Average GPA of 3.40 or better in accounting prerequisites taken at the time of application. Prerequisites include:
- Accountancy I (Financial Accounting)
- Accountancy II (Managerial Accounting)
- Measurement and Disclosure I (Intermediate Accounting I)
- Measurement and Disclosure II (Intermediate Accounting II)
- Audit & Assurance Services
- Federal Taxation
- If a student does not meet the required prerequisites for the MSA program, the student must complete the Accounting Immersion Program (AIP) term;
- Two letters of recommendation. It is preferred that one of the two required letters of recommendation comes from the Dean or Department Chair, though not required. Faculty recommendation letters are acceptable in lieu of a recommendation from either the Dean or Department Chair.
