Ralph J. Bravaco

Biography
Ralph Bravaco grew up in New Jersey in the shadow of Manhattan and came to Stonehill College via graduate school at The University of Notre Dame, where he received his Ph.D.
At Stonehill, where he instituted the computer science major, he has taught more than twenty-five different courses in both mathematics and computer science. He is a recipient of the Louise F. Hegarty Award for Excellence in Teaching as well as several grants from The National Science Foundation. His current project, with co-author Shai Simonson, Java Programming, From the Ground Up, is scheduled for publication by McGraw-Hill in January 2009.
