Residence Hall Association (RHA):

RHA is a campus-wide organization in charge of training and organizing the efforts of the Hall Councils across campus as well as running its own events for all resident students at Stonehill College. RHA strives to improve the quality of living in both Stonehill residence halls and the broader Stonehill campus by creating a safe academic environment in which students are able to reach their full potential. Their goal, as an executive board, is to promote community service, diversity, and awareness to on-campus residents in order to create a welcoming space. They also oversee all Hall Councils on campus, providing Hall Council members with the knowledge and opportunity to grow into remarkable leaders.

Residence Hall Association has many annual events that they are well known for:

  • The Shovel Bowl (Sept.)
  • Haunted Sem & Trick or Treat Event (Oct.)
  • Paint to Donate (Feb.)
  • Pizza Wars (April)
  • Shark Attack (April - May)

RHA also strives to create new programs that generate excitement on campus and benefit student life. Email RHA with any ideas you may have!

Stonehill College RHA is a member of the North East Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (NEACURH), under the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH).

As an organization, they focus on five aspects of residence hall living:​Programming, Leadership, Recognition​, Communication​, and Inclusivity.

Our Stonehill RHA delegation attends one regional leadership conference in each semester (Fall & Spring), and one national conference in the Summer. Applications to join the delegation are available to all RHA & Hall Council members.

Getting Involved with RHA

RHA is always looking for new ideas and future leaders to help with programming and advocacy within the residence areas!
