Civic Ambassadors Program

The Joseph W. Martin Institute for Law and Society Civic Ambassador Program is a great opportunity for Stonehill students who are Political Science and International Studies or Sociology and Criminology majors or minors to work closely with the Martin Institute and develop essential citizenship skills.

Mock Trial

Stonehill College's mock trial team competes against other colleges by preparing and conducting a trial based upon a packet of materials published by the American Mock Trial Association. The process blends the practice of law with a dramatic edge. Each member of the team plays the role of either a lawyer or a witness, depending on individual interests and abilities.

Model United Nations

Stonehill's Model United Nations is both a chapter and a course.  As a student-led chapter, they organize several on-campus activities, such as the annual “Model UN Color Run,” and participate in several off-campus activities such as the Boston Area Model United Nations Conference.

Study in Washington Program

In honor of Speaker Joseph Martin and his longtime service in Washington, D.C., the Martin Institute works closely with the Kruse Center to send Stonehill students to study and intern in Washington through the Study in Washington Program.

St. Thomas More Society

The St. Thomas More Society, was founded to serve as a guide for students interested in studying law after graduation as well as to coordinate programs that would bring professionals in the field of law to Stonehill for society members to meet and speak with, annually awards a Distinguished Alumni Citation.
