Chalk Talk: Pedagogical Discussion Groups
Provides faculty - of all ranks and from all departments and programs across the Stonehill campus - with opportunities to engage in ongoing conversations about teaching and learning excellence.
Chalk Talk: Pedagogical Discussion Groups meet regularly throughout the semester to discuss ways we can collectively improve our pedagogy through community sharing. The goal is to provide any interested faculty member with regular and ongoing opportunities to talk with a diverse group of colleagues about teaching and learning, to discuss our teaching concerns and challenges, to share tips and tricks, and most importantly, to provide each other with the support we need to improve our collective practices.
Who should consider joining?
If you are teaching at least one course at Stonehill College, Chalk Talk is for you! If you would like to join a Chalk Talk: Pedagogical Discussion group, please contact the CETL Faculty Director . Although groups are typically created at the start of each semester, additional groups will be formed on an as needed basis.
