Living with Loss

Each semester, in partnership with Campus Ministry, Counseling Services offers Living with Loss, a grief support group.

What is Living with Loss? Living with Loss is a grief support group offered to students semesterly at Stonehill College to support those who have experienced a loss. The group meets three to four times a semester for an hour at a time. It is non-committal, meaning students are not required to attend all meetings each semester. Living with Loss is an opportunity to connect with other college students who have experienced the death of someone in their lives. It also allows students a safe space where they can share their own experiences with grief or simply listen to their peers. Students in the past have found this group to be helpful connecting with others who are grieving and have found comfort in being a part of a nonjudgemental supportive community when processing a loss. If you or anyone you know of would be interested in this group, please contact Counseling Services.
