Undergraduate business program earns 2024-2025 national endorsement

Colleges of Distinction has recognized Stonehill College for the comprehensive and high-impact majors in its Meehan School of Business.
“We look for qualities such as accreditation, program breadth, advising and mentoring, integration of career services, and successful student outcomes,” said Tyson Schritter, chief operating officer for Colleges of Distinction. “Thriving in a precarious economy requires one to be agile in the face of change. We applaud Stonehill’s emphasis on educating ethical, agile, and competent leaders.”

Since its launch in 2019, the Meehan School has continued to grow stronger, steadily adding new programs and retooling existing ones to best prepare graduates for emerging opportunities in their field.
Stonehill College is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International. In addition, its healthcare management program is one of only 52 programs nationwide certified by the Association of University Programs in Health Administration, and the only certified program in Massachusetts.
The school offers majors and minors in accounting, business administration, business analytics, data analytics, economics, finance, entrepreneurship, healthcare management, international business, management, management information systems, marketing, sport management and talent & human resources management. Students in all disciplines have coursework that strengthen quantitative and qualitative analysis, critical thinking and leadership skills.
Students in the Meehan School are offered numerous experiential learning opportunities, including the Stonehill College Inspire Finance Initiatives (SCIFI), along with internships, co-ops, global placements, networking events and research.
The Meehan School of Business strengthens the already successful individual programs as faculty from all majors collaborate to help students view their field of study from multiple perspectives. This experience, combined with an emphasis on the development of leadership skills, gives students the best preparation to be ahead of the curve in their chosen fields and to fully understand a variety of business disciplines. Upon graduation, students will be empowered with an expansive portfolio of internships, externships, student research, service and study abroad opportunities.
Stonehill’s undergraduate programs in business are grounded in business ethics. Students learn how a company’s obligations extend beyond its shareholders and into a greater ecosystem of customers, employees, investors, communities, suppliers and the environment.
The Meehan School of Business supports students with high-quality academic advising and career advising resources through the College’s Navigation Center for Student Success.

Students enrolled in the Meehan School of Business have numerous opportunities to build professional connections in their field through career fairs, major-specific guest speakers, alumni networking events, faculty connections and career development services.
