U.S. News & World Report has named Stonehill College a national Best Value college
In addition to being in the Top 100 in the Best Value category, Stonehill was also ranked in the Top 100 for National Liberal Arts Colleges and colleges that do the most in support of social mobility.
After assessing 1,500 institutions on 17 measures of academic quality, U.S. News & World Report bestowed upon Stonehill College Top 100 honors on the magazine’s 2022-2023 rankings of Best Value colleges, best National Liberal Arts Colleges and colleges that do the most in support of social mobility.
In the Best Value rankings, Stonehill moved up 14 positions from last year’s rankings. In the best National Liberal Arts Colleges rankings, Stonehill rose 9 positions from last year’s evaluation. Also, in an affirmation of our Meehan School of Business, the magazine included Stonehill on its list of colleges with the best undergraduate business programs.
U.S. News assesses colleges and universities based on 17 metrics of academic quality, with the most weight placed on outcome measures, such as graduation and retention rates and average graduate indebtedness. Average class size, undergraduate academic reputation and how much colleges invest in instruction and student services are among the other data points U.S. News collected to develop the latest set of rankings.
