U.S. News names Stonehill a national Best Value college
In addition to being in the Top 100 in the Best Value category, Stonehill was also ranked in the Top 100 for National Liberal Arts Colleges.
After assessing 1,500 institutions on 19 measures of academic quality and graduate outcomes, U.S. News & World Report bestowed upon Stonehill College Top 100 honors on the magazine’s 2023-2024 rankings of Best Value colleges and best National Liberal Arts Colleges.
In the Best Value rankings, Stonehill moved up two positions from last year’s rankings. In the best National Liberal Arts Colleges rankings, Stonehill rose six positions from last year’s evaluation. The magazine also included Stonehill on its list of colleges with the best undergraduate business programs and psychology program.
U.S. News assesses colleges and universities based on 19 metrics of academic quality, with the most weight placed on outcome measures, such as graduation and retention rates and average graduate indebtedness. Average class size, undergraduate academic reputation and how much colleges invest in instruction and student services are among the other data points U.S. News collected to develop the latest set of rankings.
