Overview

Skyhawk Consulting is a student-driven, faculty-mentored professional consulting firm operated out of the Leo J. Meehan School of Business at Stonehill College. This consulting organization connects for-profit and nonprofit organizations with faculty and students at Stonehill to complete small and large projects for our clients. Skyhawk Consulting brings students outside of the traditional classroom and provides opportunities for undergraduates to pursue professional interests.

Hire Us

Currently, Skyhawk Consulting does not charge for services. Donations to the program are most welcome, and all funds generated by the consulting group go to support students and grow the program. Many of our employer partners are able to offer full- or part-time internships to students at the completion of the project.

Project Structures

Full Semester:

Some clients work with us for a semester-long project, run through our senior capstone course “Policy and Strategy.” Clients who chose this option will have access to a project team of approximately six students, led by a faculty mentor. Clients will meet with the project team in person at the start of the project, virtually (as needed) throughout the semester and again in person on the Stonehill campus for a final presentation by the consulting team.

Winter Week:

Clients looking for a shorter turn-around may opt to have students work on their project during a 1-week full-time experience during the college’s winter break (January 6-10 or 13-17). Clients will meet with the project team virtually at the start of the project in person on the Stonehill campus for a final presentation by the consulting team.

Mini-Projects:

Small projects can be assigned to a single student or small group of students, and not all need to be completed with the supervision of a faculty member.
