The Office of International Programs, located in the Duffy Academic Building (room 131), oversees all international student services, study abroad opportunities and many other initiatives to help globalize your Stonehill experience.
The community at Stonehill collaborates to help you develop the knowledge, skills, and character you need to meet your life goals and to live a life of purpose and integrity. You get the support you need to be confident in what you do and the challenging environment you need to achieve your full potential, all while developing friendships and making memories to last a lifetime.
Support Services
The Office of International Programs (OIP) supports and advises F-1 international students with regard to maintaining their visa status, and serves all international students as they adjust to academic and social life in the U.S.

Course Enrollment
International students are required to be enrolled full-time at Stonehill for at least two semesters per calendar year and register for at least 12 credits.

The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP)
The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) is the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) program that administers the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS). It ensures that government agencies have essential data related to nonimmigrant students and exchange visitors to preserve national security. SEVP provides approval and oversight to schools authorized to enroll F and M visa-holding nonimmigrant students and gives guidance to both schools and students about the requirements for maintaining their status

Study in the States offers US free government resources that explain the rules and regulations governing the nonimmigrant (F and M visa) student process in the United States.

The Office of International Programs helps develop students as global citizens by providing international experiential opportunities that assist them with meeting both academic and personal goals that foster the education of the whole person. It coordinates study abroad, international internships and global learning programs at the College.
