Advancing and entrenching diversity, equity, and inclusion is a strategic priority of Stonehill College. Through the work of the Office of Intercultural Affairs (OIA), Stonehill can further its commitment to building a culture where differences are openly shared and celebrated. The work of OIA is increasingly in demand as the number of students we serve from diverse populations continues to grow.

The Class of 2027 is comprised of approximately 21.5% of students who identify as racially minoritized and 25% identify as first-generation college students.

We anticipate that the student body will continue to diversify as the College remains centered on its efforts to uplift diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice.

The creation of an Intercultural Affairs Programming Innovation Fund will allow OIA the financial resources necessary to address the needs of current students and positively contribute to their sense of belonging on campus by creating more learning opportunities and affinity spaces. Additionally, we will be able to extend our reach to more of our alumni to keep them engaged with our Office and the happenings on campus.

Gifts raised from our generous alumni and benefactor community will support new and innovative programming within the following key areas of Intercultural Affairs, as well as allow us to serve the growing population of students at Stonehill from diverse backgrounds who seek out the support of OIA:
