Biography

With a deep-rooted passion for nature and conservation, Associate Professor of Environmental Sciences and Studies Justin Compton has dedicated his career to studying the interactions between wildlife species and their environments, aiming to promote biodiversity and sustainable ecosystems. His work has helped in understanding the impacts of habitat fragmentation, climate change, and human activities on wildlife populations. 

As a professor, Compton has dedicated himself to teaching and mentoring students. He is known for his engaging teaching style and commitment to fostering a love of ecology among his students. Within his courses he blends theoretical knowledge with hands-on fieldwork. His dedication to education extends beyond the classroom, as he often involves students in his research projects, providing them with invaluable practical experience.
