Susan Gibbons  is employed at Boston Children’s Hospital where she holds the following roles: Cochlear implant-programming audiologist on the Habilitative Audiology Team; Amplification Team; educational audiologist on the Sound Outreach to the Schools Team; audiology extern preceptor; member of the Family Education, Advocacy, and Training (FEAT) Team, and member of the Externship Committee. Gibbons also is an adjunct professor for the Speech@Emerson Program. She served as an audiologist and speech-language pathologist at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and the Learning Center for Deaf Children.  She has authored numerous research articles, presented at both international and national conferences, and was the recipient of the “On the Spot” award at BCH.

Gibbons has earned her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) and Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
