David E. Washington, Sr.

Dave started his career with us as a Community Service Officer before transferring to a campus police officer position in 2006. Prior to Stonehill, Dave was a corrections officer for the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office, a sergeant with Boston School Police, and a staff sergeant as a Mass Housing Special Police Officer. A recipient of many letters of appreciation, he also was awarded a Heroic Action Award from Massachusetts Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators. A strong believer in community policing, Dave in an ALICE instructor and frequent contributor to the Citizens Police Academy and Residence Life programming.
