Christine F. Vail
Instructor of Speech Language Pathology
Christine Vail has been a practicing speech-language pathologist since 2015. She worked in renowned inpatient facilities including Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston, Rusk Rehabilitation in New York, and Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago. Her area of clinical specialty is pediatric rehabilitation including speech and language development, cognitive-communication, and feeding and swallowing disorders.
Vail has earned her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
She has presented at numerous conferences including the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and the American Educational Research Association. She has also conducted research on the language and literacy development of young children from diverse backgrounds with emphasis on dual language learners.
Vail was the recipient of the Most Outstanding Student Award in Speech-Language Pathology as a graduate student, and a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society.
