The faculty member will discuss his work as a photographer, which has been exhibited across the United States and internationally.
Over the last decade, Associate Professor of Visual & Performing Arts Adam Lampton has photographed the former Portuguese colony of Macau (now a Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China) and witnessed its transformation from a small enclave into an international gambling mecca and leisure destination. During his address, Lampton will talk about compiling his work into a publication entitled, Nothing Serious Can Happen Here: Photographs from Macau.
This program is sponsored by the MacPháidín Library. Light refreshments will be provided, courtesy of the Office of Academic Affairs.
