Winning Glass

Tye Skeldon ’23 and Myra Hines ’23 are celebrating a big win: the coveted DECA glass award. The two rising seniors, both members of the Stonehill DECA chapter, competed in the marketing communications team event at the annual International Career Development Conference in Baltimore this past April and won first place internationally. And there was more to celebrate at the conference. Sixteen students from the Meehan School of Business competed against more than 100 schools in events designed to prepare them to become leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, accounting, finance, hospitality and management. In addition to Skeldon and Hines, six students placed in the top 10 internationally in their events.
