Springtime Activities
In a Sculpture course, students use clay to mold parts of the human body. Graphic design major Matthew Wackell ’22 works on a nose and eye here, but he found a hand to be most interesting to sculpt. “Proportionally, it was a challenge to create—getting the fingers and palm the right size,” he says. All the individual body part sculptures lead up to the course’s culminating project: the human skull.
Recording
Jenna Rohlman ’22 hones her interviewing skills in Stonehill’s podcasting studio. Rohlman, who was a digital fellow and a studio engineer, notes, “The studio became a second home to me during my senior year. I hosted my own show and recorded my senior capstone project there. You’d often find me in the studio, even in my off hours.”
Writing
On reading day before finals, psychology major Jeremy DaCruz ’23 settles into a spot in the Meehan School as he completes a term paper for his Theories of Personality course.
Singing
Shelby Donovan ’23 was the student opener at the annual spring concert. Misterwives was the second act and X Ambassadors headlined the event, which marks the final stretch of the semester.
Jumping
Rides, games, fried dough, cotton candy and prizes were all part of the annual spring carnival, held in April.
