Gather and Celebrate
Alumni return to campus for the annual GOLD Gift Wrap event and the Children's Christmas Concert.
Two special alumni events helped kick off the Christmas season at Stonehill.
Alumni and their families visited Donahue Hall on December 2 to wrap toys, which were then donated to Christmas in the City, a nonprofit organization that provides gifts to children experiencing homelessness in Boston. Sponsored by the Alumni Council GOLD Committee, this annual event has donated more than 1,100 gifts since it first partnered with Christmas in the City in 2012.
The annual Children's Christmas Concert was held the following day in May Hall. Alumni and their families enjoyed performances by Stonehill a cappella groups Girls From the Hill and Surround Sound. After the concert, children made holiday crafts and visited with Santa!

Children's Christmas Concert
Girls from the Hill performed four holiday songs.
Surround Sound sang Christmas favorites, such as Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.
The two groups closed out the concert together with their rendition of Jingle Bells.
