Welcome Message from President John Denning, C.S.C.

Welcome to Stonehill College. Each day, we fulfill our commitment to helping students discover opportunities to develop their skills and talents to create a more just and compassionate world. Since 1948, this devotion has defined our community as we have sought to educate hearts and minds in accordance with the teachings of the Congregation of Holy Cross.  

With over 100 programs in the liberal arts, sciences and business, our dedicated faculty provide impactful mentorship and experiential learning opportunities that support the whole person. Every student is offered the promise to think, act, and lead through learning communities, undergraduate research, and community-based learning, study abroad, internships, and service. 

Anchored by a belief in the inherent dignity of all people, we value each member of this blessed community and remain committed to fostering a culture where differences are affirmed. We prepare every student so that they may serve the common good, practice responsible citizenship, pursue professional fulfillment, and lead lives of meaning and purpose.  

The goal is no less than a world transformed by our students, each having been transformed by their Stonehill education, and each bearing light that enkindles hope for tomorrow.
