Stonehill honors outstanding student and faculty achievements inside and outside of the classroom.

Students

With 16 honors societies and 17 academic societies on campus, no matter what your passion, your talent will be appreciated and have room to grow.

Stonehill's Honors Program is designed to inspire that intellectual growth and independent thinking and the ability to be an effective and moral leader; instill a sense of place in a community of scholars and a familiarity with scholarly work; to foster the ability to conduct independent research and support goal setting beyond life at the College.

Faculty

Each year, the College recognizes excellence in teaching with the Hegarty Award, the Distinguished Faculty Scholar Award and the Outstanding Faculty Service Award. Our faculty, whose research has been awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars in grants over the years, are given the time and funding to pursue new research projects via the Conboy Award for Faculty Research.
