Stonehill’s bachelor of science in business administration gives students a solid core of business courses
within the framework of a liberal education.
We believe this approach is ideal: combining business education with the liberal arts and sciences prepares men and women to be skilled business leaders who have a sufficient breadth of knowledge, but who also have a strong sense of ethics and perspective for good judgment.
Business students select one of five areas of concentration
prior to either their sophomore or junior years. These specialties, together with the required
Cornerstone Program, ensure that Stonehill students are ready for life, careers and citizenship in the 21st century.
The business administration program leaves students well prepared, no matter what their career goals are. Graduates can directly enter the world of work in a variety of positions at corporations, government agencies or nonprofit organizations. Students can also pursue graduate studies in a number of fields, including business or law. For those interested in becoming a Certified Public Accountant, Stonehill offers a
Master of
Science in Accountancy (MSA).
The bachelor of science in business administration is awarded in:
“Our First-Year Business Experience course gives students a broad overview of the different disciplines —
international business, accounting, finance, management and marketing. By the third semester, when we’re asking them to choose a major, students are much more knowledgeable about their choices and are more aware of choosing the right electives and internships.”
