Alumni Programs

Stonehill offers numerous programs for alumni of all years to enjoy.

Alumni Travel Program

The Stonehill College Office of Alumni Affairs and the Alumni Council are pleased to introduce the Alumni Travel Program. The goal of the program is to offer group travel opportunities with an educational component designed specifically for Stonehill alumni, their families and friends. The destinations selected will capitalize on the specialty of a Stonehill faculty member which will provide one-of-a kind travel and learning opportunities.

We are pleased to share our 2013 trip, A Patriotic Journey Through the Civil War in Virginia and Gettysburg.

Running from October 13-20 this trip will cover many important sites from the Civil War including: Manassas, Shenandoah Valley, Antietam, Gettysburg, Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, Appomattox, Harpers Ferry, Chatham Plantation, Berkeley Plantation, Museum of the Confederacy and the National Museum of the Civil War Soldier.

We are delighted to have Professor John Rodrigue serve as our faculty host for this trip and know that his expertise will be a great addition to the trip!

Detailed itinerary, cost information and registration details can be found here.  Please contact the Alumni Office with any questions.

Travel Journal

Peter LaBreck `96, Associate Director of Alumni Affairs, chronicled the group's travels in an online Travel Journal.

Alumni Day

Alumni Weekend in its previous incarnation has not been, as a whole, successful over the past few years, so this year the College is introducing an exciting new programming format: Alumni Day. Click here for more details.

Reunion

A weekend in late spring is reserved each year to honor every fifth year anniversary class. Members of these classes are invited to return to campus to enjoy this festive weekend. There is always an excellent turnout for Reunion, as it is a great opportunity to reminisce, rekindle old friendships and relive Stonehill memories.

Class Reunion Committee

If you would like to serve on your Class Reunion Committee please contact the Alumni Office. The Pillar Society, a group made of alumni who have celebrated fifty or more years since their Stonehill graduation, are invited back to campus annually at Reunion Weekend for recognition and a variety of special events.

Area Receptions

In an attempt to reach our alumni who reside at a distance from campus, area receptions are planned on a consistent basis throughout the year. These receptions provide an opportunity for alumni to come together in a welcoming setting and learn about recent Stonehill news. If you have any suggestions for an area where you feel a reception should be held, please contact the Alumni Office.

Alumni Awards

The Stonehill College Alumni Council awards to Alumni Awards annually -- the Outstanding Alumnus Award and the Young Alumni Achievement Award.
